What should I NOT bring to camp?
No cell phones, smart watches, iPods, MP3 players, or internet connected devices of any kind. These items present risks to young people in a camp setting. Additionally, we want to create an environment that encourages mindfulness, authentic friendships, and face-to-face communication. Please, help us as we help your child build personal relationships.
At the beginning of camp, counselors will collect any cell phones or other electronic devices and keep them in a safe location for the week. Parents may have the cell phone number of their child’s counselor for emergencies.
Any camper caught with their cell phone after camp begins will be sent home without a refund.
Every year campers thank us for taking their phones away and helping them see the benefits of unplugging. Thank you for supporting this healthy policy!
No weapons of any kind (knives, BB guns, etc.).
No tobacco, vaping, or alcohol products of any kind.
No fireworks.
